rec. body shops in the GTA ??
I was looking at painting my car. Same colour, I got a quote for $2500. This is supposidly a "deal" through someone I know. Is this a good price? Anyone have any recommendations around the GTA?
Thanks

C$2500.00 is not a 'deal'...that's the going rate.

2500 might be a very good deal depending on the condition of your car is man, if its all rusted around the wheels and you have dents and so on.
But on this board we dont recommend stuff
Since the moment you start recommending something on this board, you will be bashed by trillion people,,,
So its best to research yourself.

My car is in decent shape. No major dings or rust. Just some chips here and there. I think it's a little too rich for my blodd, so I guess I'll just have to try around. The reason I asked for reccomended shops is 'cuz I don't want to end up with a "oh oh Macco" job. Yeah know?
Thanks anyways.

Re: rec. body shops in the GTA ??
when you talk to a shop ask them what you can do to prepare the car for painting (removing lights, moldings, etc...) ask for a better rate if you were to do this work. Some of the quote is for removal and installation of parts so if you were to do it then you should get a better quote.
If you can't afford the full rate ask if you could put a down payment on the job and make monthly payments I've encountered some shops that will do that for you (mind you prepare for a lien to be placed on your car protecting their intrests)
hope this helps
