All the events that we plan are open to all MX-3 owners. Even past owners still come out to our events to see what everyones done to their cars and to have fun with the gang.

Hey PrecidiaGrl, you might wish to hook up with Alberta people that will be coming. I know that there will be a few. More fun coming here and not that lonely. I think they will be staying overnight in Kelowna. May be one of them can post here to give you more details. James?

Yes we're coming. We will be leaving Calgary on July 15th at around 1:00pm (MST). We are going to break the trip up a little so that we aren't completely bagged by driving. We'll end up in Kelowna around 7:00pm (PST) and then stay there the night. The next day we'll spend some time at the beach and then head to Surrey after lunch. We can wash our cars in Surrey and then stay the night. The next day we'll follow Kevin's schedule. After all that we can go our separate ways. I'm heading back to Kelowna for another day in the sun and then, driving back to Calgary on Monday. A couple others may drive back Sunday night. I know GrandPraire is a long drive but if would like to join us for the trip, you're more than welcome too.
I can't wait! :froggie_red:

Hey Kevin! How about doing a parallel parking event like the 1st year?

Hey Dan,

No, we won't be doing that. We've changed the format of the meet this year. Also remember that we are using a new location for this year's meet, so there are things we can and can't do. Talking to Taras and James, we wanted to keep the meet as simple as possible.

From my experiences, people do not want any competition, judging, contests or games. This is my presonal opinion/observation. I think people just want to look, touch, smell those cars and talk to owners and among each other. Hey, the simpler, the better.

That’s cool. The only reason I like that competition is because I know I can get my car into any slightly possible spot. I’ll bring video so you can see what parking is like in the area I live. I can’t even keep my car here because people bump the car in front and back just to get into these spots.

That's exactly why I don't live where I have to park on the street. I did that before and people just loved to park by feel.

Well, I definitly can't wait. I know that a few people from Calgary are excited too. It will be great to see all of you again.

When I use to work on the westside of Vancouver, I use to find the biggest parking spot that I could find in the neighbourhood and take it. After work when I get to my car, the space sometimes dwindles down to at least 1/2 a foot or 4" on both bumpers. You can see the spider web cracks on my rear bumper by the license plate.
