Check the 4 CYL Faqs. My understanding is that the BPT uses a different input shaft diameter than the B6e, therefore it won't work. It uses the same as the BP miata. Talk to Ashley but I am guessing you will be buying a tranny before you do the swap.

I read that post also. You can use the tranny and flywheel from the Mx-3 with the BP-T. This was suggested to me by Derrick at Corksport a LONG time ago but I have changed my views since than. You would need to run the 92-93 SOHC passenger axle to avoid modification if using the Mx gearbox. 94+ gearbox used a half-shaft or jack-shaft to eliminate torque steer, but this would make the bolt holes for the half-shaft bracket NOT line up on the BP-T engine.
You could use the Mx flywheel as it is noticeably lighter than the BP-T's. Their is a spline diff too, which means you must use a clutch built for the F25M-R gearbox. What clutch to use is up to you. I can't remember right now, but their are some clutches available for the Mx g.b.
I would reccomend the Protoge LX gearbox, simply because it is all bolt on. There are also aluminum flywheels and clutch packages. Not to mention LSD's available for this tranny which cure traction problems associated with high hp frt whl drive cars.www.srmotorsports.com

the bpt in n/a form? yes your stock clutch will hold up. once you add the turbo...the clutch will go away VERY fast.

i'd check with chris(maldo)or boostedmx about the sohc/doch bellhousing bolt patterns. i believe they are the same. as long as you use the mx flywheel, you should be fine. if in doubt, call derrick at CS.
