1.6 DOHC 4cyl NITROUS questions

Post by THStrumpet »

I have a '95 4cyl DOHC and I was wondering a few things:
1) What is the best brand that makes a nitrous kit for my car?
2) Wet or Dry?
3) Other than the kit, what else do I need to buy?
4) What kind of "shot" can my engine handle, if at all?
5) Is it really worth it?

personally, i'm a fan of the zex nitrous kits. they only release the n2o under full throttle and they use the bottle pressure of your n2o to control the n2o-fuel ratio so it doesn't run too rich or too lean. you can check them out for yourself at www.zex.com
and konstantine is walking down the stairs...

I'd stick with nitrous express it is a wet system (much safer and can run higher amounts or nitrous) I just don't like dry systems....

every system is designed to open at w.o.t. I dont know about the other kits but my NOS kit was well designed and had alot of customer support. it is a pro race fogger that is universal. it goes for a little over 600 bucks in jegs. little is needed after the kit is purchased, just your time.
