which i/c should i get...a spearco i/c for 400 shipped core=17x6x3.5a star performance(eclipse) for 480 shipped core=24x6.5x2.25

The spearco has a better size of core, it will resist heat soak better. The overall dimensions of the other unit is good but it is rather thin. I would go with the Spearco.Chris Malden
