i found a jdm supra intercooler that would fit, but the inlet/outlet are 1 7/8. is that too small? would that restrict performance? i understand it's coming off a SUPRA which comes factory with more hp than i'll be seeing for a long time, but everyone talks about getting 2in or 2.5in inlet/outlet sizes. just wondering if it's worth getting. thanks.

The bigger the piping, the more time it will take to pressurize that piping.

Any way part of one of the articles was giving you the ideal IC pipe size according to HP. I did an APEXi Silva IC with 2.25" end tanks & 2.25" IC Piping. I'm thinking about later replacing it with either the APEXi GTR IC or a liquid to air IC (I'll probably stick to air-air IC due to it's lighter weight). For either of the APEXi air-air IC's you will have to cut your front bumper to make them work.
--------------------------
Jeremy Miller
93 Mazda MX-3 RS-R

of course, keeping it all pressurized might be a TAD of a problem
