Intercooler Piping help

Post by cjthor »

Hey guys,
I was looking under my hood for a way to run the intercooler piping and found that there is little room to route it. Does anyone have and ideas or pictures of routing?
I am sure someone with a turbo on this board can help me. thanx!!

If you have a side-side intercooler you can do what I did. Run the pipe off the turbo behind the driver's side headlight, through the thin sheet metal(requires cutting) and in front of the rad. The pipe off the TB goes to the passenger side, remove the windshield wiper resevoir, through the sheet metal and in front of the rad. Any way you do it is going to be a tight fit.
You can rewire the rear windshield bottle to run the fronts. I don't have much pressure but will probably change the pumps to solve this problem.
