How do i get the center console out?!?

This is driving me nuts! I bought my paint yesterday, got sand paper, rubbing alcohol, and a sprayer. I'm all ready to start painting but i can't get the console out. I took out all the visible screws and little pop in things but i'm too afraid to just pull it out. it seems like its going to pull out my radio and air/heat controls with it... Is it supposed to? what parts should i remove first... i figured i needed to take the glove box out so i did that first. Now what... Please help, and thanks in advance.. you guys are great! -Steve
