Re: How can I paint my Dashboard?
If your talking about the WHOLE Dash, ehh it would be almost impossible to pull it apart, best bet is to just buy a dash cover.. if your really determined to paint it.... You would have to mask off the whole car, everything your not going to paint, sand it all down till paint on it is dull... spray paint the color you want it, put about 3 to 4 coats of paint, 2 coats of gloss. Good luck man.
Dont forget that racers are rebels.
_ _____________________________ _
Super Jet Black 92'Mazda MX-3 RS
Red 92'Mazda MX-3 GS (totalled)

Re: How can I paint my Dashboard?
Here's some of my car...

I took off the peices...cleaned them really well (make sure all the dirt and grease are off)...i used rubbing alcohol. Then i sprayed LIGHT COATS of satin based paint...about 4-5 coats. Take your time, and let them dry before you add more. After you finish painting, get the FINEST sandpaper you can find, and smooth everything out. Touch up with more paint if you need to. THen add about 4-5 coats of satin based clearcoat...sand it, add more if neccessary. After it's dry (i'd let it dry atleast 24 hrs so the smell goes away too), put it back in...ur done...
[ October 23, 2001: Message edited by: Bri94GS ]
