One of my friends just got carbon fiber vinyl from www.stickercity.com and he put it on his hood his gas tank cover and a couple other places... Looks real tight and looks real carbon fiber... Just a thought to do instead of spending 450 bucks on a new hood...

Hello,
Actually the reason for the carbon hood isnt just for the pretty look. It also weighs alot less. I am now waiting on the first hoods to be produced. I am hoping by the second week of November. As soon as I have any further info I will let you all know. I started this a while back and the list of people interested started to trickle down. Since I had to pay for the mold and such I think I am going to have to buy the hoods outright. I havent decided yet. Modacar is no longer in the picture to help out on the buy. I am dealing direct with the manufacturer. I will update as soon as I can. Thank you for your time guys..
quote:
Originally posted by SirCruizer:
One of my friends just got carbon fiber vinyl from www.stickercity.com and he put it on his hood his gas tank cover and a couple other places... Vaughn said the stock hoods were pretty light and you would only shave about 2 lbs....
jason
