Well since i got my manual transmision mx i have been having a good time...but 2 months ago the car started to lose power, even after getting the whole intake and exhaust, i feel its kinda underpowered. Sometimes when im a WOT the car builds speed and then it starts to lose it and i have a strange gasoline like smell.
By the way its a 92 with 200,535 miles and counting

(This things are reliable!

)

Have you pulled engine codes? Faulty 02 sensors will make you run rich and your gas mileage will go way down.

Is your check engine light on? It sounds like an O2 fault. Try disconecting the battery for bout 15 minutes. See if that helps.

What kind of gasoline is available in Mexico? Leaded, unleaded, octane?
