Why bother with 6x9s in the first place? Just get a good component set up in the front, and do a front stage only. Your subs would basically drown out anything in the back anyways

I'd agree with Talon. If you insist on 6x9's, though, 2 ways are fine. Those 3 ways and 4 ways are just ways to rip you off. But there's no reason for the extra speakers since a 6x9 should be able to make a switchoff to tweet frequencies just fine.

O fthose mentioned Eclispe and Polk would be good choices. Also, Kenwood has always made decent 6x9's....at least as far as 6x9's are concerned.<p>Xplode is junk.

i suggest alpine all the way.. right now i have two 12" MTx 6000 series subs.. 1000w legacy 770 amp.. all the rest are stock speakers.. in my 99 cavalier.. i unhooked the back 6x9s and left the front hooked up.. in a few weeks ill have all four speakers made by alpine.. cuz alpine is the best..

wow i cant cant undrstand that why would someone put the name sony and eclipse in the same sentance. sony has to be one of the worst when it comes to making stuff for cars. and eclipse has to be one of the best. if i were u i would go with eclipse thats what i got and i love it, and there is a great warity that comes with it.

the poblem with sony is that they over rate the the amount of wats that there stuff can handel or put out. eclipse dosent do that at all. plus eclipse dosnt advertise a hole lot so the mony that would usualy go in to advertiesing goes in to R&D. i would have to say there stuff is 2 times better than any one out there. go with eclipse!!!!
