phoenix gold component speakers

Post by Maddbuck »

I found these phoenix gold QX165 component speakers on sounddomain and want to know whether anybody has these and what they think of them.
They are 7" but I'm sure I could get them in the MX-3 with a slight mod.
Are phoennix speakers any good? Any comments, positive and negative are welcome.
thanx

Pheonix gold's high end stuff is good. But I would go with Alpine's new Type-R 6.5" Component set. I am getting them for the front in custom pods, and a 12" sub Type-R for the back
