That's not an easy question, It's hard to find a good balance of those. If money is not a concern, then find some speakers with: Low VAS, Low FS, and High SPL. VAS Should be your biggest priority if you wan't a small enclousure, as it is the primary factor in size of the box. FS is the frequency below which you get significant cut off (for infinite baffle, but other enclosures are proportional to this), so your box won't need to be as big to get the same bandwidth.
As far as enclosures go I'd get a custom 'infinite baffle' that uses the spare tire compartment, if you wan't minnimally obtrusive and good SQ. Find someone who can do this very well though, because you (probably) want access to your spare. You could probably get a custom 8" ported that would be lower and smaller than a band pass 10", but it won't be as loud.
HTH
tk1138

I have had 2 JL 10w8 in a sealed box that was designed specifically for them. The sound is great, good and clean, hits damn hard too. The box is quite small, maybe 26x11x10. It has been able to hit 142Db without any problems.
