First post.
Hello everyone. I just wanted to send a quick post to let everyone get to know me a little. My name is Rob, I'm 26 from New Jersey. I just got my first Mx-3 in June. I bought it off my brother with 160,00 miles on it. New Tranny, and some other parts, and it runs like new. the only thing he had done to it was the hood emblem was shaved, and rear window tinted, and rain guards on the sides. Otherwise it is bone stock.
I have been checking out the board pretty much every day since I decided to get the car from him when I got into a bad accident with my 91 Honda CRX (don't hate me haha) I was looking for another CRX since I had so much stuff for a CRX, but decided instead to part out what wasn't dammaged, and buy my brothers mx-3. Since then I have fallen in love with the car, and I am getting ideas popping in my head more and more on what I would like to do with the car when the money is there.
Anyway.. I have been reading up about mods that poeple have done, and have ideas on what I would like to do. I do want to change the interior completly.. The tan thing just don't work for me.
First I want to find an all black interior, then accent it with a color to be chosen later to match accents in the engine (want to upgrade to the kl-ze) I am not sure weather i want to recover the seats or just switch to sparco's. I have yet to look into springs, and exhaust, and a few other things. Like I said I am still new at this, and I am still working on the legistics of everything, then I will sit down and actually plan it out on paper, and slowly get it together piece by piece. I had about 7 years, and who knows how many dollars, and hours into my CRX, so I realize that things take time when you want it done to suite your dreams.
I did have a few questions..
First, do the dash's in the 94 and up fit into the 92's? I love the look of that dash over the one that comes in the 92.
Does anyone know of good places in the NJ / NY/ PA area that deals in Mazda's (Mx-3 preferably)
Thanks for your help in the past even though you didn't know you where helping.. I have found this site, and the yahoo mailing list very helpful with learning about my new baby..
Hope to get to know everyone better - Rob

Re: First post.
Thanks for the help with that post.. I know for sure I want to ditch the tan interior, and move to black.. I have been checking into dye but I am not sure how clean this stuff is. The fact that it comes in spray cans really worries me, so I was thinking just an outright swap would look better.
