radiator

well last week i took out my radiator to clean it i put it back in filled up the radiator with water. while i was driving i look at my tempeture and it was pass the heating temp so i stop and check it out and there was smoke every were. whats wrong??

Put some Prestone antifreeze with it. :roll:

seems like there is a crack or some hole, or it might be just an installation error you made and the pipe is loose somewhere and lets hot fluid out. water should be fine for the rad, but a bit of antifreeze wouldnt hurt. :shrug:

You must use antifreeze with water, otherwise the water will just boil from the heat of the motor. Antifreeze works for both extreams, Hot and Cold.
