ECU Question

Can someone tell me if an ECU from a 93 RS will work in a 95 RS? Same engine/tranny. I called Mazda Parts and as usual, they were well.. Lets just say, CLUELESS!!

ONLY if it was one of the very few late model 93's that came with the DOHC. if it has the sohc, then nope.

was bored one day and swap out my ecu from my sohc and put a dohc turn on but sound and worked like **** unstable ideal missing back fireing. like i said i was bored and wanted to see what would happen. since i have a 95 dohc wreck mx-3 lying at my house. if that 93 can with a dohc that yes it would work if it can with a sohc like mine than no it wouldn't work. just look for a 94-96 ecu from a mx-3 dohc if auto use auto if maual use maual. auto and maual don't work i thing there different connections.
