I got a couple of questions????

The first ? that i got is when i run my car hard and shut it off then turn it on there is a ticking
sound till i take off then it stops. it is coming fron the eng. I cheack the oil. oil was just changed.

The second ? is what year and make trans would i have to get to put in a bpt eng.

The tick sound could either be the lifters or the injectors?? Next time it does it just listen close to the valve cover and the injectors and it will tell you......for the transmition i would guess the 323 gtr transmition would be best??

the trans should come from a 91-95 escort gt or a 1.8L protege LX 90-94?? you also need the protege/escort flywheel, drive-shafts, and jack-shaft. and i'd get an ACT organic street disc for the clutch(also for the protege/escort). don't get a gtr/gtx transmission because they are AWD and the conversion would be pricey.

the ticking is probably the lifters but they usually only tick when it's cold outside and the car hasn't been plugged in.
