idle problem

Post by GolfPro14 »

When ever i have my lights on, and press the brakes at a stop light, my rpm's drop and my car feels like it is going to die. Its really annoying especially when i am on a hill. I always have to use my parking brake. Really whenever i idle and my car is warmed up and i use some sort of power, my rpm's will dip alittle. i was wondering if i swapped in the more powerful alternator from the gs, could this possibly fix my idle problem?

Being that you already have 9 posts, I assume you found your answer.

If not, look in this forum, there should be a thread within about 3 pages from here with 40+ posts that describes this problem in a lot of detail. I know, because I have the same issue.
