grounding points?

Post by Shady469 »

Has any one tried to add additional grounds to the motor? If so, where are the best places to ground? I was trying to look into how the Integra Hyper ground system is run, but I'm leary about grounding the dist. and other electronics.lemme know.

Basicly with the hyper ground system it's the cylinder head, engine block, frame, chassis, and alternator case.

Run a ground from the -ve on the battery to the chassis, from the intake manifold to the -ve post, MAF to -ve, alternator to -ve/chassis ground, block to chassis, tranny to chassis. You will notice some improvement with 8gauge but 4 is the way to go. You could ground the disty, no harm in that. You want to use similar ground points, run things in a series.
