O2 Sensor- Bosch ok?

I have a 93 Mx-3/ 1600 cc, with auto trans, only getting 22 MPG. O2 sensor was replaced with a bosch generic, worked on the miata I own but does it work on this MX-3? MPG has not changed. <p>What O2 sensor should I use if this one is wrong?

bosch is fine. try doing a tune up.(fuel filter, air filter, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, etc.)
