Effects of a Cold Air Intake?

Hey guys im thinking of putting an intake in my car, its a good start towards a little more pep into the engine. Those of you who have them installed what do you notice most out of them EG. Sound, power, responce etc?

Sound is the most noticable factor in a 4 banger mx-3. Performance gains are minimal, they are kind of fun to install though.

I used a bomz cold air intake for a integra gsr..it fits pretty well. it relocated the filter in the finder well where your stock air box baffle is located...(by your coolant res. on a 1.6) I noticed a deeper sound as well as a little more responce. If any horsepower is gained wouldn't be much...2-5hp at best...there was one pipe left over so I'm going to try to make some sort of ram air for it....I purchased it off of ebay....I also needed one of those mass air adapters and a valve cover filter..ya know one of those autozone (honda) tiny filters that go on top of your valve cover.....any way if you have any questions or maybe want to see some pixs. shoot me an email and I would be happy to help a fello mx3er.....
