Ice queen
Ice queen
Strange problem for all you out there. My 1.5 refuses to warm up? The fans aren't on and the only time the temp needle move is after about 45 minutes stuck in heavy traffic. It has an impreza bonnet scoop but the internal heat shield thingy is still there. All suggestion greatly wanted, needed .........

most likely it is the thermostat....wouldn't hurt to change it anyway. The part shouldn't cost much more than 10-15 bucks. If thats not it maybe your fan relay??? Kind of hard to tell exactly...I would start from replacing the thermostat and go from there. While your at it flush the radiator also....Hope ya get it running right...
