Re: Intake
PRM makes a good product from what i hear (prmracing.com)...but what i'm gonna do is this, you tell me what u think:
take out the airbox and stock intake piping. leave MAF sensor with the pipe going from the MAF to the throlltle body in place...get a 3" silicone fitting from home depot. put the fitting on the MAF. now, Ractive (Toucan industries) makes a high flow conical filter with a heat shield on it....attach this filter to the silicone fitting...now attach another silicone fitting to the "suction" end of the filter. now route some 3" PVC from HOME DEPOT
to the space behind/underneath the headlamp, using 45 degree bend pieces and straight sections, piece it together, and figure it out...i think it'll work pretty well. comments? suggestions? bring 'em
..i'm open to ideas

Re: Intake
3" is too big for a 1.8L motor.
Of course, you cant buy 2.5" anything at Home D-pot

Re: Intake
Not trying to get smart or anything, but the 1993 mx-3 has a 1.6, and 3" is a decent size, most intake systems are 3", exhausts are normally 2.25-2.50
