Headers for 1.6 DOHC (Need answers)
Hi Guys,
I have talked to a local muffler shop who have told me that they can make me some custom headers for my 1994 MX-3 1.6 DOHC. I was originally looking to get the Hurricane Headers from Corksport but they have been out of stock forever.
Should I go with the 4-2-1 design or the 4-1 design for these headers?
What type of gains can I look to expect from these headers? Is it worthwhile to put headers on Mazda vehicles since I have read that some vehicles dont show much gains from them.
I already have intake, custom 2 1/4" exhaust with sports muffler,
competition plug wires, beru plugs, lightened pulley, fuel pressure
riser etc and am looking for more power gains.
What is the feedback on the cams that Corksport have for the 1.6 DOHC?
Please help

plus, do they know the specifics of your motor? there's actually a science involved. you don't just grab some pipes, weld them together and voila! if they aren't made right, they can be too restrictive or create turbulance, which in either case will hurt performance. if you're looking for power, look at a different engine, but if your not serious, then go for the header(we only have one
