Really need these badly, especially a pair of matching rears.
If anybody has a set of Tokico's, KYB's, no-names, whatever....drop me a line.
I have a non-ABS car, so I can accept ABS or non-ABS spec donor shocks. GS/RS designation shouldn't matter.

Re: WTB: Full set of shocks for my 95 RS
I can see that this is not going to be easy.
Who makes a reasonably-priced aftermarket shock for the MX-3? Penske? Monroe?
What have you guys been using as an OEM replacement?

Re: WTB: Full set of shocks for my 95 RS
Canadian Tire makes a bottom-o-line strut (those junky blue ones), i think they are made by a cheap a$$ recycling company cuz they really do suck, but they do the job (not if your lowered though, get KYB adjustables or Toiko's) Also... Munroe doesn't make MX-3 struts at all. You have to get Escort struts instead, if you go in there and say anything about Mazda's they'll look at you like you have three heads. Anyways goodluck if ya got anymore Q's just ask.

Re: WTB: Full set of shocks for my 95 RS
you will not find anything cheap in canada, besides the ones i got at cost the next cheapest one were from canadian tire and they sucked *** , even if you dont drop your car, i put some in my moms tempo and it rides worse than my car with the rear struts broken
i sent you a email if you are interested in some tokico's , all four for around 540.00 taxes in, from the car shop where i got mine, my car rides nice even dropped about three inches. let me know, unclesluggo@shaw.ca

If your willing to do a small amount of modifying. Get a set of zx2's from a ford dealership. Should be about 300 for the set.

Re: WTB: Full set of shocks for my 95 RS
I was thinking that the ZX2 upgrade/mod would have been more expensive than the KYB/Tokico route, but after reading the write-up + your post, it looks like it may be one of the best and lowest-cost solutions.Originally posted by mazdubber:

I may very well have to look into the ZX2 shock swap shortly. I do use my car in the winter, so I can't afford to drop it much, I think the drop is only marginal with the ZX2's.
Thanks for the info and the approx. pricing to put it all into perspective.

If anybody has a good/decent set of rears (or even just one rear), I need a set. Drop me a line.
I have an RS but I will take GS strut assemblies as well.
