Exactly. Besides, your not altering anything in reality, your just exchanging one straining system for another, which is tested and approved by Mazda. It's been approved for use in Canada, and we pretty much obide by the same standards anyway, and if your 94+ are allowed manual belts, why not the 92-93's.
If you got all the Mazda hardware and installed it, would you think that any other inspector than your buddy would notice or even know?

well I did not think about that... should work out... I just really trust him (been a family friend for a long time) and so usually when he tells me stuff I listen.. I've learned a lot about cars from him and it's been nice... but as you all said.. if it looks like OEM, then it should be able to pass..

Junk the those seat belts and install the manuals. I'm glad I did.
