Awesome, I think I found code 16 in the fatory service manual but Im not sure if its the right code. Its for the EGR sensor, I cant see how that would kill my gas milage though. I'll see if I can find Grants site also.

16 Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system

Ok.. There is no code 16.. so I think that long pause at the beginning was probably just the start of the cycle. That would make it a code 6. Which is your Vehicle Speed Sensor. The ECU is saying its not getting any input from that sensor for some reason. This is from a 1993 shop manual though. When I get home from work in a few hours I can grab my 94 shop manual and double check for you. Also.. the page shows that a code 6 is tranny related.

For the moment.. I think you should check your timing and make sure its not too far retarded. Best of luck.

I have gotten into the habit of using Grants website LOL The 95 shop manual will likely be more accurate for your car than the 93 manual. (Different head on the engine and all) Should still check your timing though

for my car it seems as though i get low milage too, and i noticed someone said something about having a bad idle, mine idle's at about 500 RPM's...is that too low?
