That's why I retained the original intake track tube that resides above the rad. It's able to feed cool air quickly to my CAI. Not living or working in the city makes that set-up viable, otherwise, retaining original airbox with K&N filter would be a prefered route.

Actually, many of us DO put a vent in to direct fresh air into the fenderwell, where the CAI cone is.
Still most people know that a CAI is mostly just for the sound.
