well bro
RS and GS dashes are da same except for da gauge and the shifter trim, depending if it is manual or automatic,
and you can fit the 94+ dash in a 93 or a 92 model, the only thing is you need everything
even the heater pipe from the heater!
good luck on da swap, forgot to mention it has been done in the past eh!
latez :D :D

I looked into the same thing. I actually did swap almost the entire interior from a 94 to a 92, because I liked the color scheme better. But when it came to swapping the dash, I found that it would be more work than it´s worth. The metal framework behind the dash that hold everything in place are different, to start. Take a close look at the heater controls - the later models had electronic pushbutton controls with servos controlling actual dampers; whereas the older style has the manual levers. Another issue was airbags - I just didn´t want to mess with those - the 94 had both driver and passenger side, but the 92 had none.
So, in summary: Anything's possible, but I didn´t think this swap was worth the time and effort that would be required.

If you haven't bought one yet then look for a 94 GS. They are rare but you can find them.
you would need a complete 94 dash to move it over to the 93 with all the internal braces. As for the heating system you would have to locate a manual control panel (some came with manual and others electronic). can't use the 93 one as it is wider. I discovered this when I put the electronic control system in my 93 SE.
The airbags are a prob if you want them - if not, not a problem because you can get non functional replacement covers.
