Some people are such jerks...
Some people are such jerks...
I went to my MX-3 today it was like 1:45, I was in a hurry because I had to drop off my resume at the college of business for a job interview for Motorolla by 2:00 pm. I turn the key and the car won't start, my battery is dead. I look around and there is nobody in sight because its the middle of the day. Finally these two dudes come strolling of my apartment complex and I ask them if they will give me a jump. They have the nerve to say "no man, I don't think so" and then after a few seconds the one dude adds "I'm in kind of a hurry" BULLSH*T! These two were just cruising along, laughing, joking and eating KFC or something all the way to their car! They couldn't even take 2 minutes to give me a jump! Some people are such c*cksuckers! If you ever see someone stranded with a dead battery do them a favor and give them a jump-its good karma. I ran to the bus stop and barely caught a bus and turned in my resume at like 2:10,luckily I wasn't too late. Its just unbelievable to me how some people can act like that. Sorry for the rant, I just had to get that off my chest-oh and does anybody have any reccomendations for a good reliable battery?
[ March 13, 2003: Message edited by: azmtbkr81 ]

I know how you feel, I had the same problem last year. My battery was dead every time I went to start my car, and I parked in underground parking, it would take about 30 min to finally get someone to jump my car for me, since hardly anyone drove by, and most who did, didn't want to help.
Turns out I had a dead cell, so I went out and got a yellow top optima battery, it's a very good battery if your running a large stereo.

Have you tried clutch starting? Sorry to hear about this. Don't worry you'll get your chance to get back at people like this.
