Traffic Ticket (Minor)

Do you think I should fight the following ticket?<P>My friend and I were on our way up to Casino Rama, we just finished merging onto the highway from getting gas. Shortly after we got on the highway, I noticed a van up the road that was going like 75km/h (Speed limit 100Km/h). I thought nothing of it, looked in my mirrors and saw a car a fare bit back in the lane I wanted to merge into (didn't seem like he was going extremely fast), so I merged.<P>Next thing I know, the car I thought was way back there was tailgating my a--, when I perfectly parallel with the van I was passing. Next thing I know, the guy tailgating me throws on his sirens and pulls me over.<P>The officer was so pissed at me! He stated that I got in his way from chasing a speeder (You could tell he was PUMPING with adrenalin. I thought to myself "Why didn't you have your sirens on then? If I would have seen sirens I would not have got in your way". He gave me a ticket 

Opps, i forgot the most important part. The ticket was for "Failing to signal lane change". <P>I don't think i have a chance though. It comes down to...I didn't signal when i changed lanes.

yeah, unfortunately you cant really win. Its a minor offense, so it shouldnt hurt your insurance or anything. Sorry to hear about the bad luck, but if you didnt signal, you didn't obey the law...sorry [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]
