HID QUESTION?

Post by MX3 Raw »

I would like to know what exactly will be needed to be done to convert my head lights from the regular yellow looking bulbs to HID's.

I was looking at this site, but there is so much to choose from, which is the correct bulbs and should I get the KIT?

Will this mean I should definitly swap the 70 AMP ALTERNATOR to the 90 AMP?

Also where is the best online place to buy the new wiring for the ground and etc. I must uprgade this as I have seen one of my wires melted.

OFFTOPIC: Will installing keyless entry effect anything on the car? Whats a good keyless enty not including the alarm! I do not need an alarm, thanks!

Thanks in Advance!

Contrary to popular belief the HID system pulls much less current that a halogen headlight.

Halogens draw approx 55 watts where as the HID draws approx 35 watts.
