probe header/emissions

Has anyone with the probe header gone for emissions?? If so did it pass or will it??

you shouldnt have any problems wit headers passing inspection. I have some hotshot headers on my 240sx and that **** made my car have some a deep tone and the exhaust twice as loud. All i did was put my silencer on when I took it to get it inspected. I have a high flow cat headers intake and an apexi n1 exhaust and my car passed with flying colors. Well actually the first time if failed for defroster not working and reverse light was staying on. But they definitly didnt fail me for emissions so I dont see anyone having a problem. And if you do, you jus need to ask around until you find a inspection station that is lazy and doesnt check everything. The second time I took my car back to get it inspected I didnt have anything fixed yet because I didnt have the money and he passed me.

where do you find 'lazy emissions station' lol, first time I hear that, they connect your car to emissions computer and it says if it fails or not, not depending on person's lazyness

All the guy did was put his hand towel in my pipe and pull it out. They didnt check my defroster nor my driver seat. My driver seat failed the first time because it is broken and wont stay up and if also failed for defroster not working. My dad jus been going to this place all his life and he told me they would pass me. This isnt the first time they passed me either when I shouldnt have passed. When I first got my mazda we took and had it inspected somewhere else and it failed because it didnt have the air bag like it was supposed to. So he took it to the same place and guess what. I bet you will never guess.....they passed it. So I guess you just gotta be lucky.
