cold air intake CUSTOM, intake sensor removal?

Post by god_of_trash »

Well today I bought some parts...

ACCEL 9mm plug wires
autolite titanium spark plugs
Ractive short throw shifter
K&N performance filter (for stock box)
Ractive high performance filter for custom CAI im gonna make.

My goal is to have it ready for summer.
I hope to have gained a few extra ponies from the following:
ACCEL 9mm plug wires
autolite titanium spark plugs
Ractive short throw shifter
Custom CAI
Custom exhaust done by local shop with:
-Straight piped, no catalytic converter, and a HKS high flow muffler.
12 pound or lighter rims with some potenzas
60mm throttle body
carbon fiber hood any style
170 pound weight reduction

I hope to lose some weight and add a hopeful 30hp
to my GF's MX-3. so she can beat some civics!

what ya think?
any other basic mods i should *** to my list here at the house...
?

Yeah thats fine, but you have to have the MAF sensor hooked up or it will only run for about 10 minutes.

Peace; Gary :welder:

It won't even run for that long. Maybe 2 seconds if you're lucky.

Are you joking? I had my MAF unplugged (by accident) for atleast 5 mniutes driving around to test my CAI. Then I notcied the check engine light was on and it started to backfire every time I shifted. So I pulled bac kin my garage and fixed the problem in two seconds. But still, my car ran fine for 5 minutes or so, untill the back firing started.
