i'm so confused(high then normal idle)

car began idling ~2-2.5k after an incident when i went VERY rich. so i changed the O2 sensor and changed the plugs to a step colder. during the day today the car ran flawlessly. but tonight i go to start it up and my S-AFC has had a brain fart some how and was running the hi map at idle, so i a changed some setting it started up and ran fine. but when coming to a stop my idle was ~2k.
when i got home (idle still ~2k) i shut it off and put it in test engine mode. and without adjusting anything the idle was normal again. took it out of test engine mode and idle remained fine.
what would cause this?
does my car just not like cold weather or something? the iac is fine though...

CLean your injectors mine did the same stuff then i put in some seafoam it it runs like used/butnew
