speedometor doesnt work

i did a tranny swap, my spedo, and mile counter both dont work, they worked before now they dont, there both hooked up, any info will help, thanks.

your speedo cable isn't hooked up or is hooked up wrong. check to see if its threaded all the way into the tranny or if its even connected at all. did you do a new custom speedo cable or use stock one.. maybe new tranny doesn't fit into it. definitely speedo cable though.

What tranny did you put in your car? Its possible there wasnt the right speedo gear in the tranny to hook up with the speedo cable so they left it hanging. Look under your hood, right in front of the driver side you should see it hanging.

i put the same tranny in it, new but the same, the cabel is connceted,ill pull it out and re connect it, its just a pain to get to the dam thing.
