Ford Escort engine
HEy folks. I've just come across a 1.9 liter 4cyl engine that came out of a 92 Escort with next to no miles on it. Just wondering if its of any use to me in replacing my 1.6 dohc.

Re: Ford Escort engine
Ummm...i think ive found my answer. According to what ive been reading the 1.9 L is SOHC and boasts a massive 88 hp. Not excactly what i was looking for. I was originally thinking that it may have been from a GT, but thats a 1.8.
