I want to swap over a 1993 Mx-3 (4 cly, 16v, 1.6L)To a v6 1.8L or 2.5 what parts do I need to change and what is the proceedure. If you can give me some advice, maybe a website, or any related documents I would be grateful. If this job is imposible then how to change the auto. transmission to manuel on the 4cly. Thanks

Check the I4 FAQ. Its not impossible or anything like that but it takes MANY parts. It is usually cheaper to get one with a V6 to start with.

Yeah I think that you would be better off just getting the GS cause swapping the 2.5 into the 4cyl it a VERY expensive way to go, and time consuming

Thanks for the advice people, I will look into it! I have spoken to many others, some say the transmission and 1.6L from 323 are enterchangebul and others say the only thing for me are 1992 or 1993 Mx-3 parts. Could someone clear up this issue. I Need A manuel transmission what can I use. oh yea and 5spd_GS what do you think I am doing, is this not searching.
