4 cly Tranny or engin/tranny swap

I lost the auto. tranny in my 93 MX-3(4cly, 16v, 1.6L). I belive somehow water inside and shagged it. Now I am thinking about changing it over to mannuel or looking at swaping the engin and tranny over to a v6 1.8L or 2.5L are these ideas possible if so what parts do I need. It would be great if someone good give me some direction on these issues. websites, swaping walkthroughs for my situation, parts segestions, etc.

do a search. That will be the quickest way to find out info on the swap. There is a guy on the board that calls himself legg something or other and he was recently selling everything that you would need to swap from an auto to a manual tranny. Check out the for sale forum also.
