I think I know what you mean. Mine is '95 with automatic (has about 65k miles on it), and I feel the vibration when stopped with the shift staying in 3rd gear (or was it 'd' drive?) . If it's in 'p' (parking), it does not vibrate. Is it what's happening to your car? I had a ride on my girl-friend's honda civic, and I did not feel that vibration even though it's '93 and has more milage. I'm not a mechanic, so don't know what to do with it. If someone knows how to fix this problem, that would be nice.<P>bungo

Hey, ive got a 91 Manual MX3 and i think im having the same problems, especially when i change into second gear it usually vibrates and sometimes even stalls completly. It also happens if i come up in third and just put my foot on the clutch. Ive taken it to the mechanics and they didnt really know, and i even wondered if it was my computer chip, but that seems fine. Do you know what was wrong with yours, because im starting to get pissed off and it doesnt look good when i stall at the lights!!

I had put some Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil in mine before I got rid of it and I could feel a little difference in the vibes at a stoplight. That may help out with some of the vibes. Chris

Check the air tube from the flow meter to the throttle body. Mine was stalling, getting worse and worse by the day & I inadvertantly discovered a crack in it. Once upon a time it was flexible, but after 9 years it was very brittle. I probably cracked it changing the air filter. $80 at the Mazda dealer. My 1988 Tracer (1987 323) shakes constantly at idle (which varies, mostly up) & I'm pretty well convinced it's motor mounts. My 1990 323 interior vibrates, but that is just cheap plastic and no insulation. I've found removing non-essential panels etc. quiets it down considerably.
