HELP - Front end shaking
HELP - Front end shaking
Can anyone tell what might be the cause of this problem? My car travels fine until I come to an ALMOST complete stop, it begins to shake at the front end. When at a complete stop, it does not shake. The problem is worse when the steering wheel is not centered. I checked the motor mounts and they are fine.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: HELP - Front end shaking
It's not the brakes. The engine shakes not the wheels. Thanks.

Re: HELP - Front end shaking
Your Idle might be going really low then, others have had this prob, causing the engine to vibrate near the resonance frequency of the mount-engine system.
If it is because of the Idle droping you can: A. try to find softer engine mounts (this should lower the resonance frequency), or B. Try to make your engine not drop it's Idle speed so much (theres a lot of posts on this).
