I think he means disingages the clutch, or pushing the clutch down...I have the same problem. I have checked the intake for holes and there are none. So when stopping and pushing the clutch down and break, say on a downhill stop, the car will sumtimes studder and even shut itself off, dunno why...I thought maybe fuelinjectors but i had them cleaned still same problem...Ive posted about it many times, never got a straight reply, so i left it alone :)
Ryan

kinda happens both, doestn really matter....however it has a tendancy to do it more after a long run at high speeds or hirgh rpms, thats why I checked the intake...
Ryan

i have the same problem, i think it is a sensor problem of some sort, perhaps the mass airflow, but probably not. thinking something in the O2 area of the intake, the engine is starving at low idle, like there is a pressure loss. i am trying to get to the bottom of this one, i'll post if i figure it out as well.

Try adding some extra grounds to the car. Run them from the block, alternator, maf, etc. to the chassis. Use either 4 or 8 guage wires. This has helped many of the GT/GTX guys with certain driveability issues.

i doubt its back pressure: i'm runnin 2 1/4" pipe with a high flow cat to a strait through muffler. i was hoping that this would solve this problem when i had stock exhaust but it didnt.

I would try just shifting straight to (n)with no clutch and see if it drops idle,if it does I would start looking for intake problems by spraying non-flamable liquid around intake man.intake flow ports and the throttle shaft area. I am a factory trained Honda mech.with 14 yrs.ex.and that is where we started, If the car has lots of miles I would start looking at the throttle shaft bushings. Chris
