I need info on disassembling the shifter

Hey i bought new all the rubbers and springs that goes on the shifter assembly, but i have no idea on how to take the shifter out of the car, please help!<P>------------------<BR>Alberto<BR>1993 Mx-3 1.6l Se<BR>Brilliant Black!

If this is a stick I know how.<BR>1. Remove shift knob and center console.<BR>2. take off dust boot from bottom of shifter<BR>3. you will see a spring clip that you must pry out with like a dentist tool, the spring will rotate out. <BR>4. unbolt the shifter from underneath the car.<BR>5.
