Millenia Engine
Millenia Engine
One of my friends who works at a performance parts shop told me that he had read about someone putting the engine from the Mazda Millenia into the MX-3 and that it fit right in with the V-6 engine mounts and little more. I was wondering if anyone else had ever heard of this or if it would even work. He also told me that the Millenia engine has a BHP of somewhere around 250, which would be great in the MX.
-NJMX-ER
92 GS
Re: Millenia Engine
dont even think about putting a v6 in a 4cl MX. you will need the tranny , ecu, all wiring harnesses, that'll take 2 much $$.
WAY 2 much $$$!!

------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
barrykclark.com
custommx3@usa.net

Re: Millenia Engine
But wait, aren't the older Millenias 4 cylinder models? And wasn't there a Supercharged model?
Let's forget about the money issue for a moment. Is it a drop-in mod? Or is there welding and brain surgery involved?
4cyl Millenia engine + supercharger = Super MX3
Is there anyone out there that knows if this mod is feasable?

RF

Re: Millenia Engine
I believe the millenia motor will not mount up to the mx-3 tranny,
this means all new wiring, tranny, mounts, axles, motor, and who knows what else..

------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
barrykclark.com
custommx3@usa.net
