The shifter dropped on my car recently. I did a search on Google to see how to fix it since the part isn't made any longer and found this thread. I sent an email to the guy that makes the brackets. Even though the posts on here are years old, I was surprised to get a reply from him and I have one on the way...

Took the bp+t out of the mx and swapped it into a 95 escort wagon.
