Over the weekend, I just replaced the snorkel tube. I started to replace the air filter with a new K&N cold air intake kit. I realized the adapter K&N shipped with the kit was for a 93 Mazda. The 93 Mazda had the square inlet and round outlet. My 94 Mazda has the round inlet and round outlet. I have placed an email back to K&N to see what the solution. I'm curious what anyone else did to remedy this situation other than waiting on K&N.
Are there any other ways to redo the cold air intake (for someone who is not mechanically inclined?)

Re: cold air intake - 94 mazda mx3 - 1.6L - 5speed
I thought all mx-3 air flow meters were flat where it mounts to the air box... if it's round on both sides you may already have an adapter on it. Just find the right size connector and hose clamp it in line. Go to local auto part store (Autozone, O'Reilly's, Pepboys) with the parts you have and find the color and size connector you want and the clamps for it. That easy
. If that doesn't work maybe I'm missing something. PIC's?

I HATE mechanic shops and LOVE junkyards!!
