Moving near Montreal

I will be moving near Montreal July 2014. I will most likely be south of the city, excited about the move! I am sure there are more MX'ers up in MTL area compared to Connecticut (have been here with my car for past decade + and have only met a few). Who will be my new MX-3 friends? I know there are a handful (+ more people on Club Protege also). Bonjour!

Good choice i live 20 minutes away north of montreal! hopefully you'll come to the icar circuit!

I'll be looking to move to south shore, near La Prairie. I'll be working in Northern NY just across the border so its not a bad commute. What's the icar circuit?

They're pretty busy there. I was there last summer to do a test drive of the Mazda6 diesel coming out; we watched a Ferrari from a racing school hit the well. They also had a 2014 Mazda3 test drive there in fall but I couldn't make it. They do lapping, drifing, winter lapping apparently, there's a drag strip too. Some friends did the BMW winter driving experience there a few weeks ago. Pierre Letourneau from Canada's Worst Driver instructed that course, who is a friend of a friend who used to rally race with him. You've also got Carl Nadeau which is a professional drifter, he's a friend of my cousin who he used to work for until things didn't go so well between them last summer.
