Looking for EXCELLENT Place in Lexington, KY to fix an MX-3

Post by ganue »

All,

Maybe you've seen my worklog ( http://mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=80888 ) - my daughter has her 1993 MX-3 GS SE at UK in Lexington. I am looking for a reputable EXPERIENCED MX-3 shop or one of you guys in the area to figure out why she is losing coolant when it is cold outside and to do a few more things on it. Me thinking water pump...

It did this at home right before she drove back at Christmas and it gulped up a half gallon of coolant. She had no issue on the drive back - coolant level was the same as when she left the house. Also no issues as long as it's warm. Yesterday it was about 25 or so and the issue recurred. No smoke. Car has a verified < 90,000 original miles on it.

Looking for suggestions on where to get it fixed down yonder.....Mazda dealer there is plan B.

Thank you!!!
