hey guys I was wondering if you knew of any place that sells rebuild kits for the G5M-R trans i ordered a mfactory and want to re-syncro my trans along with new bearings a seals and what not bascily looking for a "Master Rebuild kit" thanks -fez

I don't have any part numbers or sources for you to buy online.. I buy my parts threw local transmission supply companies... But here are a couple threads I have done with lots of info on rebuilding/tearing down a G-series transmission... You'll need some special tools to measure end clearance.. You'll also need to order some shims from mazda in order to set the bearing pre-loads properly.. No one can tell you what shims you will need until start building the transmission and measure the end clearances.. I don't have any part numbers since all the shims I have, I acquired from tearing down and parting out a few transmissions...

This is a B6T, G-series transmission, but the KL's and BP's all come apart the same way...

care to sell me a mess of shims? and ya i know i need measure equipment im a mechanic.. my trans place only sells auto trans parts go figer lol...

Sorry bud... I only have a small mess of them... When you do get into it, they aren't that expensive from mazda..
